The Summary? The first victim of Freddy Krueger's cruel, nasty actions, Nancy, has been dead for many years now. Her childhood fears are a thing of the past, and Nancy is now an news source adult who helps other young people deal with their own traumatic nighttime experiences. Freddy's reappearance is a bummer since he scares the youngsters into suicide by invading their dreams.
Following the success of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, New Line Cinema decided to make A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 more than simply a quick buck-strap. For one thing, they worked on it for a number of years, and more crucially, they got Wes Craven back on board as a writer and a producer. The end product was something that took the notion and turned it up to eleven.
